The market fell Monday as higher crude, rising Treasury yields, and megacap tech weakness overwhelmed strength in energy and semiconductors.
Applied Materials and Micron kept the chip complex afloat, but Meta’s legal overhang and Microsoft’s slide dragged the major averages lower. The split sharpened after hours, when Fabrinet erased a regular-session gain despite a 45% revenue jump.
Stocktwits traders crowded into Nike, Fabrinet, Duos, Lululemon, and Gorilla. Nike drew the loudest stream as dip buyers treated a 12-year low like a clearance rack, while Duos’ bearish room questioned how quickly its $500M hosting win can become revenue.

AFTER THE BELL
Meta’s Trillion-Dollar Trial Opens ⚖️
Meta shares fell Monday ahead of a federal trial beginning Tuesday in Oakland, where four states will test claims that Facebook and Instagram addicted children, misrepresented safety, and collected data from users under 13 without parental consent. The case is the first trial in broader litigation involving 29 state attorneys general.
The RIP: $META fell 3.5% to $568.97. The states’ maximum penalty calculation reaches $1.4T, while attorneys have discussed an ask near $200B. The trial is expected to last six to eight weeks and initially features California, Colorado, Kentucky, and New Jersey.
Shareholders care more about structural remedies than the theoretical damages ceiling because the states also want age restrictions, children’s data deleted, and allegedly addictive features removed. Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram head Adam Mosseri are expected to testify, with the accepted violation count and any required product changes driving the economic risk. The room has reduced the legal debate to Big Mac addiction while chart bulls argue that a $566 gap fill opens the road back above $600.

Intuitive Machines Goes Orbital 🛰️
Intuitive Machines, the lunar and space-infrastructure company, said Monday that an undisclosed customer authorized work on a multi-satellite communications program expected to exceed $600M. Shares rose as the IM-1300 platform pushed the story beyond moon landers and deeper into satellite manufacturing.
The RIP: $LUNR gained 7.2% to $20.38 on 20.2M shares, or 1.4x recent volume. The authorization covers the design, manufacturing, integration, and support of multiple spacecraft, with an anticipated program value above $600M.
Space-stock holders care because the award validates Intuitive Machines’ effort to diversify across commercial, civil, and national-security programs. With the customer, delivery schedule, and additional terms confidential, the next measurable checkpoint is funded backlog and program revenue in future filings. Retail filled the information vacuum itself, guessing Canada is the mystery customer and reviving $40 price targets before the first satellite leaves the factory.

SanDisk’s AI Rally Reloads 🚀
SanDisk, the flash-memory and data-storage maker, extended its five-day rally Monday as last week’s investor-day targets and a new JPMorgan Overweight rating pulled buyers back into the memory trade. The shares remain more than 25% below their June 25 record close.
The RIP: $SNDK rose 8.9% to $1,786.85, lifting its five-session gain to 44.3%. Management targets mid-to-high-teen annual revenue growth for fiscal 2028 through 2030 and gross margins near 80%. JPMorgan resumed coverage with a $2,250 target; the analyst average is $2,210.
Memory holders and peers such as Micron care because eight long-term customer agreements represent roughly $94B of potential revenue at floor pricing. SanDisk now has to deliver its growth targets while keeping gross margin near 80%, with weaker pricing or looser supply threatening the investor-day math. The room has promoted $1,650 from a chart level to a loyalty oath, while another post stretched the read-through to Micron earning more than $230 by fiscal 2030.

Duos Lands AI Anchor 💻
Duos Technologies, which is repositioning around modular edge data centers, said Monday that two project entities signed five-year hosting orders with Axe Compute covering 55 MW across multiple U.S. sites. Shares jumped as aggregate base payments topped $500M, excluding electricity and usage charges.
The RIP: $DUOT rose 12.8% to $10.28, then added 4.0% after hours. Q2 revenue increased nearly 30%. Duos reaffirmed its 2026 targets of 25 MW deployed and more than $50M in revenue; initial Axe project readiness is targeted for late 2026 through early 2027.
AI-infrastructure holders care because the agreements are worth more than 18x Duos’ 2025 revenue, but billing starts only after construction, testing, and Axe’s written acceptance. The next checkpoint is whether the projects reach service on schedule and whether proposed minority investments in the project entities become binding. Retail is already arguing over whether this is an inflection-point rerating or another capital-intensive promise, with one skeptical post flagging the delayed 10-Q and difficult earnings call.

L3Harris Fires Its CEO 🧯
L3Harris, the defense contractor spanning missiles, military communications, and space systems, removed Chairman and CEO Christopher Kubasik on Monday after a board investigation found conduct inconsistent with its code. The company said the issue did not affect financial reporting, controls, customers, or operations, and installed Sam Mehta immediately.
The RIP: $LHX fell 4.6% to $278.38 on 3.0M shares, or 2.4x recent volume. Mehta previously ran businesses producing more than 80% of company revenue. L3Harris reaffirmed its 2026 financial targets and $3B solid-rocket-motor expansion.
Defense holders care because Mehta’s operating footprint limits the learning curve, even if the surprise exit adds governance risk. His next checkpoint is keeping 2026 guidance intact while executing the rocket-motor buildout and preparing the postponed missile-business spinoff next year. The room called the departure a nothingburger and a dip-buying gift, while the bear camp pointed to a roughly 20% drawdown and kept asking how much farther it could fall.
The Community Read: The latest $LHX read is neutral, test the leadership handoff ->
"$LHX His departure does not affect the bull thesis. Of course the knee jerk dip volatility is to be expected, as well as the buy the dip investors who accept this incredible gift by accumulating."

Fabrinet sank 6.4% after hours even after fiscal fourth-quarter revenue jumped 45% and adjusted EPS of $4.10 beat the $3.82 consensus, turning a 5% regular-session gain into a sharp reversal. The report keeps AI-optics demand intact but raises the bar on guidance and valuation, while Stocktwits’ 85% bullish room is treating the selloff as either a reset worth buying or evidence expectations outran execution.

Nike slid 4.0% to $39.09, touching $38.86 and closing at its lowest level in roughly 12 years as the turnaround trade lost another round. The price now forces investors to separate a washed-out global brand from a structurally impaired growth story, while Stocktwits’ 94% bullish room is leaning into value even as bears see the new low as confirmation.
6,951 WATCHERS · 61% BULLISH · NORMAL ACTIVITY
Klarna fell 6.2% on nearly 3 times normal volume before Tuesday morning’s second-quarter report, its first major test since first-quarter revenue topped $1 billion and adjusted operating profit reached $68 million. The print will show whether fast U.S. growth can outrun credit and funding worries, while a 61% bullish Stocktwits room remains caught between buying the pre-earnings drop and bracing for another reset.
