Top Dawg Of The Week 🐶

The Top 25 list's Top Dawg was Verve Therapeutics Inc., which rallied 79.55%. 📈

The Boston, MA-based cardiovascular treatment start-up flew this week after news of a potential buyout bid from $LLY ( ▼ 2.84% ) for $10.50 a share in cash, valuing the firm at about $1.3B in total contingent value.

Benzinga wrote that the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter. The pricing put the firm at a 113% premium to the 30-day average trading price of $VERV ( ▼ 0.54% ).

The stock is up 96% YTD.
